Our Services

Tauranga Mens Shed is an incorporated society and registered charity whose aims and objectives are to enhance the mental and physical wellbeing of mature men who may have retired and need the social company of other men. 
We repair all types of items for Pre-schools, Schools, St Johns, Brain-damaged Childrens Trust, Bumblebee Trust, local residents both young and old - our local Community. 

For our Members

The shed is the place for  men to be socially active, form new relationships, participate in manual crafts and new activities whilst committing to the community.  

Helping the community

The shed does a wide range of projects for community groups including Play Centre's, Schools, Brain-damaged Childrens Trust, Bumblebee Trust, St Johns, Salvation Army, Habitat and other Service and Sports Clubs.  The shed also makes and sells wooden items (cutting boards, toys etc.)  in its small shop.  ​

Typical projects

​The projects undertaken by the Tauranga Men’s Shed range from repairing broken furniture etc. for the public (who cannot elsewhere get the items repaired), to the construction of furniture and other items for various charitable groups including schools and early childhood educators etc.
